Day 1 Arrive at Guiyang (B/-/-)
Transfer via: International or internal Flight arranged by you
Upon arrival, local tour guide will meet you at airport and take you to check in the fixed hotel. Free at leisure.
Day 2 Guiyang / Huangguoshu (B/L/-)
Drive 2 hours to the headstream of waterfalls – Zhenning County to explore comprehensively the biggest Waterfall in Asia – Huangguoshu Waterfall. Pass by the miniature garden, waterfall caves, view the waters from different angels, go forward to explore TianXing Bridget Stone Forest Park (1 hour), and then visit the widest water – DouPoTang (Steep slope Pool, 0.5 hour). Drive back to Guiyang in the afternoon.
Huangguoshu Waterfall: The 77.8m-high and 101m-wide, it ranks No.1 in China in terms of overall strength. And also it’s one of the largest waterfall in the whole Asia. Since ancient times, its incomparable reputation has won admiration from many people, including learned men, poets, photographers, tourists and roamers.
Day 3 Guiyang / Leishan / KaiLi (B/L/-)
Drive 3 hour to visit Leigongshan Nature Reserve (1 hour) which is the well-protected pure land on ecological and culture angels. People who live in the big pressure and sub-health really need to relax in this green park, to breath the clear air, to cleanse one’s spirit. Have pictures at local pure people, peculiar stones, narrow lanes, bright streams and plum trees. Return to KaiLi (1hour).
Leigongshan Nature Reserve: Located 15 kilometers (nine miles) east of Kaili, Leigongshan is the most intriguing scenic area of the Miaoling Mountains. It gained its reputation as a National Nature Reserve because of its abundance of overlapping mountain ridges, flourishing verdant plants, valuable and rare animals, and historical war remains.
It is the highest peak in the mountain ranges of Qiandongnan (southeast Guizhou Province), so Leigongshan is rumored as the place where the God of Thunder (“Leigong” in Chinese) lives. Every summer, thunderstorms can be heard resounding on the mountains, which is why people called it Leigongshan (or Leigong Mountain).
The top of Leigongshan Nature Reserve can be reached at a 2178.8-meter (7148.2-feet), where visitors can enjoy the sunrise, admire the sunset, and also have a panoramic view of the Miaoling Mountains. A large number of rare animals wandering among the virgin forests may make one feel one has really returned to nature. The climate on Leigongshan is typically rainy and wet, and changes constantly, making summer as comfortable as spring and autumn. That makes it an ideal summer resort for tourists.
Day 4 KaiLi / Xijiang / Guiyang (B/L/-)
Drive 1 hour to visit QianHuMiaoZai (Miao Monority Villages, thousand families). Enter into Xijiang, walk on the slate street, veiw on the DiaoJiaoLou, taste local flavor food, visit the Miao’s museum that records their own culture and folks, learn to sing Miao’s song, picture the rice field, immerse yourself in pure local life. In the afternoon, transfer to Guiyang airport for your flight to your next destination.
