Day 1 Arrive / Lijiang (-/-/-)

Welcome to Lijiang! Meet you at Lijiang airport and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After a short break, drive you to visit Lijiang Ancient Town and Black Dragon Pool.
Lijiang Ancient Town is an interesting place to explore. The canals in the town are really unique, the local people block water to wash the ground in the town every day, and this has been practiced ever since the town was established.
Black Dragon Pool is an excellent place to admire the Dragon Snow Mountain from the long distance and to visit the Dongba culture museum in the park.
Day 2 Lijiang / Tiger Leaping Gorge, Trekking around 6 hours (B/L/D)
This morning driver to Qiaotou town. Start the Tiger Leaping Gorge trekking tour from Qiatou Elementary School. The trail uphill is very steep, particularly on the 28-bends(2670m), followed which we can take a glimpse of the River at the bottom of the gorge like a thin line.
After 1-2 hour from 28-bends, we will arrive at half-way guesthouse, which has a great view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and overlooking the Jinshan River (Upper stream of Yangtze River) Valley.
Day 3 Tiger Leaping Gorge, trekking around 5 hours / Lijiang (B/L/-)
Get up in the early morning, hiking to Tina’s Guest house. The trail became downhill when we saw a waterfall. We will hike about one hour down to Tina’s Guesthouse. Then we will trek further down to the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge.
When arrive at Walnut Grove Garden, we will take the car to visit the upper part of Tiger Leaping Gorge.
After a rest, drive back to Lijiang.
