5 Days Yunnan Old Train Tour to Jianshui and Shiping

Day 1 Arrive Kunming(-/-/-)

Transfer via: flight arrive Yunnan arrange by you.

Welcome to Kunming! Meet you at Kunming airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. If you have interest, it’s your free time to explore the city around and prepare for the next day tour.

Day 2 Kunming to Jianshui (B/L/D)

In the morning, drive to the destination – Jianshui Town. Upon arrival, explore character symbols of this ancient town, like the wells. Jianshui is well-known for its wells. Though enjoying a history of more than one hundred years, the well has never dried up. The names and features of wells differ from each other.

Stay tonight at Jianshui town.

Day 3 Jianshui / Shiping (B/L/D)

It’s our full visiting day today. We start at Chaoyang Gateway Arch. It was built in 1389, as the symbol of this ancient military town in the southeast border and an emblem of this historic and cultural city.

Then taste the local Tofu pudding and Soya-bean milk which made with the good quality well water from Daban Well of west gate.

After that, we’ll visit the Confucian Temple which was built 700 years ago. It is the largest temple in China which used to fete the saint in Chinese culture-The Confucius.

The Twin Dragon Bridge is also cannot miss in Jianshui. It’s built during the Qing Dynasty. The 17-arch stone Twin Dragon Bridge has an ornate three-story pavilion in the middle and a smaller one at the south end. In the afternoon, we’ll hiking along the Ge – Bi – Shi railway, the first private railway of China and are dying in a near future. we can appreciate the different styles of the stations and beautiful view.

Stay tonight at Shiping town.

Day 4 Shiping / Kunming (B/L/-)

Today we’ll experience a sense of flashback! Different factors mix together, from old times to modern times, and from western styles to eastern characters.

The Zhengying Village is like a rich live in seclusion. Please keep your head when you appreciate the exquisite wood carvings and stone carvings. While visiting the Zhengying Village, you’ll know the reason why we hiking along the Ge – Bi – Shi railway and why does the landlord can have their own private railway without land ownership. Shiping Station and Shiping Market will also make you have different impressions of this village.

In the afternoon, let’s say good-bye to Shiping and back to Kunming.

Day 5 Kunming / Departure (B/-/-)

Transfer via: TBA-flight on your own arrangement .

It’s your free time before transfer to airport to catch your back flight.
