Welcome to Xi’an, where the ancient China capital and the starting place of Silk Road lies. We meet you at Xianyang international airport and transfer you to your hotel. Free at leisure or arrange your time on your own.
Day 2 Xi’an (B/L/-)
Begin the day’s activity with an once-in-a-lifetime viewing of The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Huaqing Hot Springs. Then coming back to the city, have another tour to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, the extraordinary 2,200-year-old Terracotta Warriors of China’s first feudal Emperor, Qin Shihuang. As THE 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD, the Terracotta Warriors located in Jiangzhai Xichang Village, about one mile from Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum. There are about 8,000 of these warriors and horses covering a massive area of 20,000 sq meters. For history lovers, the sight is truly breathtaking.
Huaqing Hot Springs, which is situated 30 kilometers east of Xi’an at the foot of the Lishan Hills. The springs were a popular retreat with Emperors more than 2,500 years ago, many of whom enjoyed bathing in the perfectly clear mineral water.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda: Situated at south of the Xi’an city, as one of the main constructions in the famous Buddhist temple-Da-Ci-En Temple, the pagoda is one of the most distinctive and outstanding landmarks for Xi’an City.
Day 3 Xi’an / Mt. Hua / Xi’an(B/L/-)

After breakfast, our local guide will pick you up at the hotel and we will drive one and a half hour to Huashan Mountain. Take cable car to North Peak of Mt. Hua -one of the most famous China’s mountains known for it’s cliffs. Climb Thousand-feet Stone Pillar, Lianhua Peak, Yuquan Court and Changjin Pavilion.
Huashan Montain is located in Hayin city, Shaanxi province. It is one of the noted Five Mountains in China, and once called the West Mountain in ancient times. Mt. Huashan, which is famous for its egregious cliffs, mainly consists of five peaks which look like five petals of a flower. East Peak is 2,090 meters (about 6,857 ft) high above sea level. It is also called Facing Sun Peak because the top of the peak is the best place to watch the sunrise. West Peak is 2,086.6 meters (about 6,845.8 ft) high and is always called Lotus Peak because of the unique shape. The peak is formed by a huge rock, hence it is very steep. Many beautiful legends also happened here. Among them, “Cleave the mountain and save the mother” is the most famous. South Peak, with an altitude of 2,160.5 meters (about 7,088.3 ft), is always considered to be the head of the peaks. Climbing to the top of the South Peak may greatly satisfy every climber. What’s more, the temple for God of Mt. Huashan is also situated on the South Peak. North Peak, which was called Clouds Stand by ancient people, looks like a flat platform in the clouds. The peak is 1,614 meters (about 5,295 ft) high above sea level. The most important site on the North Peak is the Zhenwu Hall for God of North.
Be transferred back to your hotel after dinner.
Day 4 Xi’an(B/L/-)
Out to visit the Ancient City Wall. After that have a tour to the Bell Tower, which is the most well-preserved and best-known one among many ancient cities of China.
Ancient City Wall: It is the most complete city wall survived in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. The wall was built in the Tang dynasty (618 -907) and enlarged in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644).
The Bell Tower was originally built in the Yingxiang Temple in 1384, at the intersection of West Street and Guangji Street. Then in 1582, it was moved to its present pivotal position, in the very heart of the city at the junction of four main streets extending to the east, south, west and north, for rebuilding and later restorations. With magnificent carved beams and painted rafters, this classical building is truly elegant.
Day 5 Xi’an / Departure (B/L/-)
Visit Shaanxi Provincial Museum in the morning.
Shaanxi provincial museum is the largest comprehensive museum in the province. It exhibits primarily historical relics of past dynasties and displays precious art treasures and stone carvings of the Han and Tang dynasties. Walking through the exhibits in the museum is like walking through the 3000 years of China history.
In the afternoon, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
