Day 1 Arrive Beijing (-/-/-)

Upon arrival, bet met at Beijing airport by our local guide then transfer to the hotel for check-in. The left time is free at your leisure. Beijing is the capital of China, which is also a political, cultural and economic center.
Day 2 Beijing (B/L/-)
In this morning, you will begin today’s tour to Tiananmen Square, which is the world largest urban square. The square contains the monument of the heroes of the revolution, the Great Hall of the People, the museum of history and revolution, and the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall. You can stroll in the square and take some photos. Then continue to Forbidden City. Located in Beijing city center, the Forbidden City was first built in Ming dynasty, and became the Imperial Palace of Ming and Qing dynasties. It’s not only an incomparable ancient architectural complex masterpiece, but also the largest and complete wood structure ancient architectural complex exists in the world.
After lunch, have another tour to Summer Palace which is the largest scale and completely preserved Imperial Garden in China. It’s located in Haidian area of Beijing city, 15kms away from the city center, covering 290 hectare. It was first constructed in 1750 and razed to the ground by the Anglo-French Allied Forces in 1860. It dominated mainly by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. When you travel in here, you can optional have a cruise on the Kunming Lake if the weather permits.
Day 3 Beijing (B/L/-)
As one of the world heritage sites, the Great Wall you will must not miss while you are in Beijing. Therefore, accompanying by the local tour guide, you will go to visit the world famous heritage site – Great Wall. The section you go is the Mutianyu Great Wall. Located in Huairou County 70km northeast of Beijing, Mutianyu Great Wall is not as crowded as the nearby Badaling or Juyongguan sections of the Wall. However, the scenery is as good as the Badaling or Juyongguan sections. What’s more, due to the less tourists come here, it’s good for you to take photos or have a short hiking for breathing the fresh air and appreciating the amazing scenery.
After lunch at a local restaurant nearby the Great wall, will go ahead to visit Ming Tomb via stroll along the Sacred Way. The Ming Tombs are located in Changping District, about 50 kilometers (31 miles) to the northwest of Beijing. There are thirteen imperial tombs of the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644) scattered over an area of forty square kilometers.
Then drive beck to your hotel. In the evening, you can optional to experience the Peking Opera.
Day 4 Beijing to Xi’an (B/L/-)

While in Beijing, the best place to experience the local people’s life is Hutong. And today’s morning, will lead you to visit the typical Hutong in Beijing. Hutong was first built in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) when Kublai Khan (first emperor of the Yuan Dynasty) founded Beijing as the capital. It is a typical lane or small street in Beijing, also the best places to learn the unique “Hutong culture”. You can take a ride to these lanes to experience the local Beijing people’s life and visit the special old buildings.
In the afternoon, take flight to Xi’an. Upon arrive Xi’an, be met by the local tour guide at the airport, and then transfer to the hotel for checking-in and rest. The left time is free at your leisure.
Day 5 Xi’an (B/L/-)
You will start today’s tour to Terra-cotta Warriors after breakfast. Due to its historical significance and uniqueness, Terracotta Warriors become one of the top attractions in China. Terra-cotta Warriors lies 2 km east of The Tomb of Qin Shihuang, known as the First Emperor, who unified China 2,200 years ago. When you back to the city, you will have a short stop at a mountain village and pay a visit to the local families and residents.
After lunch, you will have another tour to Shaanxi Provincial Historical Museum which is situated in the southern suburb of Xian City, northwest of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a roomy, modern museum which contains over 370,000 relics chronicling Shaanxi civilization and culture from as far as prehistoric times. It covers 65,000 square meters, with a building area of 60,000 square meters. The newly built modern building recreates Tang-dynasty architecture and successfully symbolizes the great extent of Shaanxi history and its remarkable culture.
Day 6 Xian to Dunhuang (B/L/-)

After breakfast, transfer you to the airport for taking flight to Dunhuang. Upon arrival, be met by the local tour guide then transfer you to the hotel for check-in and rest.
In the afternoon, start Dunhuang’s trip to White Horse Pagoda. Located at the east of the ancient town of Dunhuang, White Horse Pagoda was first built in Qin dynasty and renewed in Qing Dynasty by Daoguang Emperor (1843-1844). The pagoda has 9 storeys, with a height of 12 meters and a width of 7 meters. It was made of adobes with a column inside and coated on the outside with mud and lime. Then drive to explore the area’s remarkable Echoing Sand Dune. Echoing Sand Dune also name Singing Sand Dune, in Chinese called Mingshashan. It stretches about 40kms from east to west, and 20kms from north to south. While in the Echoing Sand Dune, you can ride a camera to explore Echoing Sand Dune around and enjoy the amazing Crescent Spring. Then drive back to the hotel.
Day 7 Dunhuang to Turpan (B/L/-)

In this morning, drive to the famous Mogao Grottoes. Located on the precipitous face of the east ridge of the Echoing Sand Dune, 15km southeast of Dunhuang, Mogao Grottoes is one of three noted grottoes in China and also the largest, best preserved and richest treasure house of Buddhist art in the world. The grottoes show an uninterrupted history of Chinese art over a period of more than 1,500 years.
After lunch, go to visit Dunhuang Museum which is located in the downtown area of Dunhuang City. It covers a total area of more than 3,000 square meters, with a building area of 2,400 square meters, and boats more than 4000 cultural relics.
Then transfer you to the Railway Station to take Train to Turpan and stay night on the train.
Day 8 Turpan (-/L/-)
You will have breakfast on the train on your own arrangement before arrive Turpan. Upon arrival, be met at the Turpan railway station then transfer you to the hotel for check-in. after a short rest, you will have a city tour to Ancient Gaochang city and Astana Tombs.
Located about 40 kilometers east to Turban City, the Ancient Gaochang city was first built in the Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD) and then named Gaochangbi. It was the transportation junction of western regions and also a key point along the Silk Road of China. It was one of the best-preserved ruins of the ancient cities in China. Then continue to Astana Tombs. Located in the Gobi Desert of north Gaochang, Astana Tombs are about 5km from west to east and 2km from north to south, covering about 10 sq km. It was the ossuary of ancient Gaochang residents. Most of the residents in Gaochang Ancient Town and the surrounding environs were buried here. Of all the tombs, only three are open to the public. Though it isn’t much to see, since it is between the Bezeklik Grottoes and the Gaochang Ruins, people might want to make a quick stop at the Astana tombs while touring the area of Turpan.
In the evening, you can optional to enjoy a local ethnic minority dance show under the grape trees.
Day 9 Turpan to Urumqi (B/L/-)
Start today’s tour to Karez Well which is a unique irrigation system in the desert region of northwest of China. It was regarded as one of the three ancient projects in ancient China; the other two are the Great Wall and Grand Canal. The construction was made to adapt to the natural basin of the region while taking into account solar radiation and the atmosphere of this dry region. Karez wells have a very low evaporation rate, a stable water supply, and are capable of watering farmland all year round. These qualities reveal the wisdom of those ancient farmers.
Then drive to Urumqi which is the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China, is just like a piece of emerald embedded at the foot of the Tianshan Mountains. It will take about 2.5 hours.
Day 10 Urumqi (B/L/-)
In the morning, we will have a visit to Xinjiang Provincial Museum boats an impressive collection of exhibits, covering artifacts and relics from more than 12 minority groups. it was opened on 1st October 1953, covering 7.8 sq km. The museum is divided into different sections: a Mongol wing, a Tajik exhibition, a Kasak exhibition and a Dauer people and relics display.
Then continue to Heaven Lake, also named Tianchi in Chinese. It lies in the middle of Bogda Peak, 110 km east of Urumqi, the Heaven Lake with crescent-shaped, blessed with clear water and fresh air. While you arrive there, you will take a boat ride on the lake to enjoy the amazing scenery around.
Today, you will enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake before visiting a Kazakhs family yurt in the surrounding grasslands and foothills of the Heavenly Mountains.
Day 11 Urumqi to Shanghai (B/L/-)

It’s free for you to explore the Urumqi and the city around to experience the local people’s life before transfer you to the airport for catching your fight to Shanghai.
Upon arrival, be met by the local guide then drive to the hotel for checking in. The left time is free for you at leisure. Shanghai is China’s cosmopolitan center of commerce, while you in Shanghai, you can walk along the streets to see the modern city.
Day 12 Shanghai (B/L/-)
Start today’s tour to Shanghai Museum which is a world-renowned museum of ancient Chinese art. It covers an area of 38,000 square meters, with a scale that surpasses the old museum several folds. It has the research departments of Chinese bronze, ceramics, paintings and calligraphy, and artifacts, and a scientific laboratory for preservation of cultural relics, with researchers and associate researchers over fifty in number. After finishing, go ahead to Yuyuan Garden to experience the ancient classical garden and the Yuyuan Market.
In the afternoon, go to visit the Bund and Nanjing Road where you can explore the amazing Bund and the prosperous Nanjing road. In the evening, you can optional enjoy a fabulous Acrobatic Show.
