Day 1 Arrive at Kunming (-/-/-)
Transfer via: TBA flight – on your own arrangement
Meet you at the Kunming Changshui Airport (KMG) and transfer you to your downtown hotel for check-in. The left time is at your leisure.
Day 2 Kunming (B/L/-)
This morning, you will go to West Hill for a visit. On the West Hill, there is a special gate called Dragon Gate where can get a commanding view of the famous Dianchi Lake. and then explore Kunming Bird & Flower Market.
West Hill is very beautiful with lush vegetation, blooming flowers, green grass and tranquil surroundings. West Hill has enjoyed great fame for its beautiful and unique natural scenery since ancient time and was renowned as “the most beautiful place in Yunnan”.
Dragon Gate，also called Datiange, which is a temple eyrie on the side of a sheer cliff Arhat Peak. It’s an ideal place to get some idea of how magnificent the sights are. Standing at the Dragon Gate, you can enjoy the beauty of the vast Dianchi Lake. It was said, “Once on the Dragon Gate, your fortune will be made.”
Bird & Flower Market One of the more interesting attractions within the central downtown area of Kunming, and a great place to shop for a lot of different things like clothes, name chops, dice, outdoor equipment, camping and hunting gear, birds, flowers, live baby turtles, pirated movies, music, games or dried lizards on sticks. It’s open roughly from 9am-6pm, but all of the individual shopkeepers keep whatever hours they like.
Day 3 Kunming / Stone Forest / Jianshui (B/L/-)
After breakfast, we will cost about a half and 2hours for visiting the famous Stone Forest. Then transfer to Jianshui County. It takes about 4hours.
Stone Forest located in Shilin Yi Nationality Autonomous County. It covers an area of 400 square kilometers (96,000 acres) and includes both large and small stone forests, as well as many other scenic spots. The fantastic stone pinnacles rising abruptly from the ground resemble a huge, dense forest. The stone forest with its mysterious scenery and natural beauty is described as “the most fantastic scenery under heaven” by the people in and out of China.
Jianshui is a small town in Honghe prefecture, 220 kilometers south of Kunming. It is on the road Kunimg to the famous Yuanyang rice terraces, most of the travellers stay one night here to enjoy the atmophere of an ancient Chinese town.
Day 4 Jianshui (B/L/-)
Full day visit to Zhu Familiy’s Garden, Confucian Temple , Jianshui Ancient Town and Double Dragon Bridge.
Confucian Temple located in the northwestern corner of the county seat, and built in the 22nd year of the Zhiyuan era of the Yuan Dynasty (1285). Its scale is followed by that the one of the Qufu Confucius temple in Shandong Province and is now one of the provincial historical relics. At present there are a great hall, a pavilion, a two-storeyed pavilion, two wing rooms, two central halls, three memorial halls and eight decorative archways.
Day 5 Jianshui / Yuanyang (B/L/-)
Today you will drive to Yuanyang, the driving is very nice along the ethnic rice terraces in the mountain, you will drive through the area of Yi people in the mountain and Dai people in the Red River valley where they grow banana and tropical fruits. On the halfway pay a visit to Swallow Cave.
After arriving in Yuanyang, you will enjoy the sunset view of Tiger Mouth Rice Terraces.
The Swallow Cave: Known as one of “the biggest and most splendid cave in Asia”, the Swallow Cave Scenic Region is located in the mountains 30 km east of Jianshui, and consists of a dry cave, a water cave and a 30,000-square-meter natural forest, with a total area of 100,000 square meters. Every year between spring and summer, thousands of swallows will fly here from Malaysia, building nests and giving birth to and raising young swallows. Thus it is named “the Swallow Cave”.
Day 6 Yuanyang / Kunming (B/L/-)
This morning, we will get up early to enjoy the wonderful Rice Terraces and catch the sunrise at Duoyishu. Before come back to Kunming, we will go to visit Qingkou village and an ethnic fair at Xinjie Town.
Yuanyang Rice Terrace is reagrd as the world’s largest and most spectacular one, crafted out by bare hands by the Hani people one thousand years ago and is still in use today. Located all around Yuanyang Old Town, those rice fields have been carved on the Mountain by the Hani people for centuries. Tiger Mouth is the most popular place in Yuanyang to shoot sunsets and Duoyishu is the best place to shoot sunrise.
Day 7 Kunming/ Departure (B/-/-)

This morning is free for you to explore around Kunming until be transferred you to Kunming airport for catching your flight.
